Emergency Management System


The software tool SAM (Severe Accident Management) has been developed as an integral computer-based tool for the severe accident management in safety related organisations. SAM manages and coordinates the various networked information, which are fundamental for the planning, the training and the coping of severe accidents.

SAM encompasses:

  • the management of severe accident related information as well as their coordination in one system 
  • the management of organisational processes and corrective actions
  • the internal and external severe accident communication
